Upcoming Events Happening in Clarksville, TN

If you have children, perhaps one of your biggest concerns when moving to a new town is what sort of activities you can do with your family in your new community. While there are a variety of things families can do on a daily basis in Clarksville, TN, here are two special events which your family might enjoy experiencing together.

Best of Clarksville

Best of Clarksville is an annual fundraiser benefiting various local charities. Best of Clarksville has outgrown its previous event space and will be held at Governor’s Square Mall on October 1st, 2015. This year 100% of the proceeds will go to The Humane Society of Montgomery County, Operation Homefront, and Bikers Who Care. In 2014 Best of Clarksville raised $76,500 for March of Dimes! Millan Enterprises has been nominated for Best Property Management Company and we would greatly appreciate your vote while attending the event.

Movies in the Park

Although the Movies in the Park series will soon come to an end for the season, there is still a chance to see a movie with your family in Liberty Park. On October 10, you can see Star Trek Into Darkness.

The entire Movies in the Park series is free, but you will likely want to bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on. While you can bring your own food and drinks, concessions will be available, and alcohol is prohibited. It might be tempting to just send the kids to see the movie alone, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. View this as an opportunity to watch a free movie as a family. Plus, if you have just moved into your new home, it is a chance to get away from unpacking boxes for a few hours.
